A Tomb Raider inspired puzzle level (:
Backstory:
The temple of the Sun Goddess, Ezcanya, is placed in a mountain. People believed that when they build a temple high in the mountains, the temple would be closer to the sun, and also closer to Ezcanya who would be more pleased. Ezcanya is a friendly, loving and popular Goddess. Many people praise her and offer her lots of offerings. Ezcanya likes everything shiny, everything that can reflect her light and thus create more light.
When the Goddess became pregnant and got her first son, Yaretzin, she was utterly happy and gave the earth plenty of light. Yaretzin turned out to be a Moon God. Sadly, when he became older, he noticed he didn't receive as many offerings and love as his mother did. Everyone loved the power of the Sun Goddess, but nobody seemed to care about the power of the Mood God. Yaretzin became angry and attacked his mother in the way of putting the world in darkness for months. Ezcanya tried everything to convince him to stop, because her world and her people where suffering. Plant's couldn't grow, the world became colder, and people only started to dislike the Moon God even more. This went on till Ezcanya couldn't bear it any longer. When the world, the people and the animals suffered too much, she had to make the decision to kill her son. She had to do something, in order to keep her world alive, even if it caused her a lot of pain to kill her only son. She cried rain onto the world, and it soon became clear to the people that her tears were poisonous. People collected some of her tears as they were holy. When a God dies, he will be brought to earth, and so did Yaretzin. The huge body of the Moon God was found, with a dagger in his chest.
After this event, people created the temple to honour the Sun Goddess. Offerings where brought to her, and there would be a closed off room that would honour Yaretzin. After all, he was Ezcanya's son.
